The Story
So Far
Filmmaker by training, systems-oriented by instinct. This is the full arc, from camera work to creative operations and technical leadership.
Always current — generated from this page.
I grew up in Muscat, Oman, picking up a camera at seven — not as a hobby, but as a language. Films, home movies, anything I could point a lens at.
That instinct led me to Montreal, where I studied film production at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University. During those years I worked on everything from celluloid shorts to Quebec TV productions — and spent four days on the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past. That last one taught me how large-scale productions actually function.
Back in Bengaluru, I joined Chill Panther Media and did the full range: cinematography, editing, sound design, directing. Then came Momo Media, where I joined as an editor and motion graphics artist and left as Head of Post Production — having grown the team from 3 to 10, built the studio's entire digital infrastructure, and overseen hundreds of projects for clients like Xiaomi, Myntra, and Unacademy.
The pivot into operations and technology wasn't a departure from filmmaking. It was the same instinct applied at a different scale. I learned that the best operators think like storytellers — everything has a structure, a rhythm, and a reason.
Since 2024, I've been at LastBench Studio as Lead of Post Production and Associate Producer — working on brand films, launch content, animation, and social impact storytelling for clients ranging from Razorpay to Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies. It's a smaller, craft-forward studio, which means everyone operates closer to the work.
I think in systems — the structure underneath a problem before the details of it. I process fast, I work in focused bursts, and I hold high standards because I believe rigorous work is a form of respect. I mentor people, build workflows, run homelabs for fun, and still lose sleep over a bad colour grade.
Most useful in environments where precision matters and where someone needs to hold the whole picture in their head while others focus on their piece of it.
If you're scaling a studio, building an ops function, or producing something ambitious — let's talk.
